The peak of the OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) Month at PT DAHANA (Persero) was commemorated on February 23, 2021. Unlike the previous years, this year’s OSH Month commemoration was carried out virtually through the Zoom channel.
“This is done in consideration of the high number of Covid-19 spread in Indonesia,” said Erwin Cipta Mulyana, DAHANA’s Senior Manager of OSH Life Environment and & Technology.
Erwin continued that under the the theme “Strengthening Excellent Human Resources and OSH Culture”, the OSH month commemoration at DAHANA was packed with variety of events, including a photo competition with the theme OSH Culture, Webinars featuring several speakers, and Kahoot games attended by DAHANA employees from the Subang office, Jakarta office, and the DAHANA Site Project throughout Indonesia.
“This event is intended to socialize and remind DAHANA employees to always implement the OSH culture at work,” said Erwin.
Similar idea was also conveyed by Safira Aulia Rinanda, member of DAHANA’s committee for OSH month commemoration. To increase awareness for prevention of the spread of Covid-19, DAHANA’s OSH committee is campaigning for Covid-19 vaccination through a zoom webinar for DAHANA employees.
“We invite speakers from some related agencies such as Acep Rida, Ph.D from Biofarma who discussed things that we needed to know about the Covid-19 vaccine, then dr. Irvan Octavian. Sp.u who discussed the effects of vaccination, and finally dr. Ira Lindayanti who gave discussion on discussed the 3M culture & vaccine communication in the workplace,” explained Safira. (rmt)
