PT DAHANA (Persero) signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Directorate General of Taxes regarding the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The signing signing ceremony was held at the Main Cakti Buddi Bhakti (CBB), Marie Muhammad Building, Jakarta Tax Office, Tuesday morning, April 30, 2019.

The Cooperation Agreement witnessed by Finance Minister Sri Mulyani included the provision of training and guidance related to taxation, bookkeeping, recording, and other related materials within the MSME development program. Provision of training and coaching to MSMEs is part of the Business Development Services program that had started in 2015.

“If MSMEs are further involved in tax compliance, the impact will be great for the Republic; they are the real warrior of the Indonesian economy,” Sri Mulyani said.

The Director General of Tax, Robert Pakpahan, explained that the expansion of the Business Development Services program is committed to developing an informal business with an end-to-end approach, this program is also a form of opening digital transformation by holding the principle of collaboration.

PT DAHANA (Persero) was represented directly by President Director Budi Antono. During the event, Budi Antono was also accompanied by the Chairperson of DAHANA’s Community Development Partnership Program (PKBL), which had been conducting training for dozens of MSMEs, Eman welcomed the signing of this cooperation.

“This is a remarkable breakthrough for us, especially for the sake of our partner’s development. Under such agreement, our partners have the chance to get introduced to related knowledge such us financial report and marketing during the event given by the Directorate General of Taxes,” said Eman.

Eman also pointed out that during the event, DAHANA’s partners were also participants of an exhibition organized by the Subang Tax Office.
