In support to provision of education and health facilities to the communities, PT DAHANA (Persero) again implemented the Community Development program that came in provision of educational facilities and clean water assistance at Al-Ikhlas School located in Limaratus Neighbourhood, Sumur Barang Village, Subang West Java on Monday, January 11, 2021.
Eman Suherman, Head of DAHANA’s Partnership and Community Development Program (PKBL) stated that DAHANA has provided educational facilities in the form of extra rooms for Qoranic learning and reciting activities and clean water facilities for ablution water needs and toilets.
Eman also said, according to the roadmap of the Ministry of SOEs,DAHANA’s future CSR work program applies the principles of Sustainable Development Goals for the short term with 6 focuses that comprise of poverty alleviation, quality education, decent work and economic growth, assurance of ensuring a healthy and prosperous Life, clean and affordable energy and developing of innovative industries.
Meanwhile, Sohar, Al-Ikhlas boarding school expressed his gratitude for the assistance that DAHANA provided that allowed worship activities as well as studying and reciting the Koran at the Al-Ikhlas school to be done in a better way. The pupils of the school had been experiencing difficult times getting clean water for for ablution, especially during the dry season.
“It is our hope that this assistance will become a deed of worship for all of us and be useful for the prayer congregation and residents,” said Sohar. (rmt)
