“National Strategic Projects are a blessing for companies, as companies can be involved in national development such as the Cisumdawu Toll Road which will later become a support for development in the Rebana area, and facilitate community mobility, which is expected to contribute to boosting the national economy in the region,” said Mr Agung.

DAHANA was granted a blasting contract for section 4 of the Cisumdawu (Cimalaka – Legok) toll road from August 2021 to August 2022 with a volume of approximately 1.5 million bank cubic meters. General Manager of DAHANA’s Quarry & Construction Division, Setio Budhianto said, under the given challenge, his team has had  60% of the construction process completed.

“The relatively short implementation time and the close proximity of the community (200 meters) are a challenge for DAHANA, but owing to the latest blasting methodology and technology, the DAHANA field team has successfully overcome these challenges,” said Mr Budhianto.

DAHANA carried out drilling and blasting activities using Dabex explosives supported by the Mobile Manufacturing Truck (MMT) unit. Led by PJO Herlan Setiadi, the team is currently focusing on hill leveling work for further road structure work.
