PT DAHANA (Persero) commenced a series GCG assessments directly on Monday, March 15, 2021. This was marked in the presence of the West Java Representative BPKP (Supervisory Board for Finance and Development) Assessor Team which was led directly by Koswara, the Coordinator for DAHANA team which consisted of four other members at the Dahana Subang Campus. This team has 35 days to complete the task at Dahana headquarters in Subang.
This year, the GCG assessment for Defense Industry Cluster SOEs is done in collaboration with the Supervisory Board for Finance and Development. This is in accordance with the direction of the Ministry of SOEs as a shareholder to carry out a simultaneous assessment by BPKP in order to welcome the holding of Defense Industry SOEs.
“The GCG assessment refers to the Regulation of the State Minister of State-owned Enterprises No. PER-01/MBU/2011 on the Implementation of Good Corporate Governance in SOEs, and the latest has been amended by Regulation of the State Minister of SOE’s No. PER-09/MBU/2012, and the 2020 GCG assessment is done in collaboration with the Supervisory Board for Finance and Development as assessors, “said Holly Alifiah, Head of DAHANA’s Internal Audit Unit.
In his written remarks, Assistant Deputy for Defense & Manufacturing Industry of the SOE’s Ministry of Republic of Indonesia Liliek Mayasari thanked the Supervisory Board for Finance and Development for their support in implementation of the GCG assessment in this Defense Industry Cluster.
GCG score of each SOE in the Defense Industry Cluster varies. In 2019, the lowest score was 73.88 and the highest was 87.56. PT DAHANA got a score of 83.01 in 2019 and is targeting a score of 90.75 in 2024.
Implementation of the GCG assessment for SOEs of Defense Industry Clusters located in Bandung and Subang is performed by Supervisory Board for Finance and Development Representatives of West Java, while PT Pal Indonesia which is located in Surabaya by Supervisory Board for Finance and Development Representatives of East Java. The team does not have much time as the report of such assessment must be completed and reported May 2021.
