PT DAHANA has managed to record revenues of up to Rp 1.9 trillion in 2021. This was stated at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) for the 2021 Financial Year DEFEND ID SOEs Holding of Defense Industry for the first time, on Wednesday, 29 June 2022, at Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta.
GMS for Fiscal Year 2021 agenda included ratification of the Annual Report and Consolidated Report of the Company, approval of the Annual Report of the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, and ratification of the Financial Statements of the Financing Program for Micro and Small Business (PUMK) for Fiscal Year 2021.
The GMS was attended by Series A Shareholders who were authorized by Shareholders Liliek Mayasari as Deputy Assistant for Manufacturing Industry of the Ministry of SOEs of Republic of Indonesia and Series B Shareholders, namely President Director of PT Len Industri (Persero) Bobby Rasyidin and the entire Board of Directors of PT Len Industri (Persero)
DAHANA’s President Director, Wildan Widarman said that despite the condition of the Covid-19 pandemic with all its variants, DAHANA is committed to maintaining excellent performance as it was able to increase revenue by 16.5% from the previous year.
“The biggest contribution originates from the drilling and blasting business line which amounts to 49.3 percent of total revenue or Rp 937.8 billion,” said Mr Widarman.
DAHANA also recorded an increase in total assets of 18.7%, total liabilities of 36.5%, and equity of 6.4% compared to that of 2020 financial year. Meanwhile, within the investment sector, DAHANA realized Rp 506.6 billion in 2021, including that for construction of Ammonium Nitrate (AN) Plant and an Elemented Detonator Plant.
DAHANA’s Board of Commissioners, represented by Rina Moreta, appreciated the excellent performance maintained by the company, with human resources dominated by the millennial generation (68%). DAHANA was able to record a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) score of 82.93, and contributed Rp. 206.14 billion to the state in the form of taxes and import duties.
“The Management also needs to continue to strive to increase selling prices and efficiency, especially the cost of goods sold through new breakthroughs and the use of appropriate technology, in order to increase productivity,” said Ms Moreta.
Meanwhile, in 2021, DAHANA’s TJSL program reported that it had distributed Rp. 1.6 billion for the MSE Funding program, and Rp. 1.6 billion for the Community Development program covering the funding for pillars of economic development of Rp. 177 million, social development of Rp. 1, 2 billion, environmental development of Rp. 103 million, and development of law and governance of Rp. 124 million.
