PT DAHANA (Persero) continues to make improvements and development in terms of its management system. This time, the explosive manufacturer is implementing the ISO 37001: 2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP).

Corporate Secretary of PT DAHANA (Persero) Asep Maskandar on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at the DAHANA Campus Training Center Building kicked off the implementation of an internal audit which was attended by representatives both auditors and auditees from each work unit.

Asep explained that the ISO 37001: 2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) was designed to establish an anti-bribery culture and assist in implementing controls to prevent, detect, handle and reduce bribery in the first place.

Standards applied to DAHANA related to anti-bribery systems refer to SNI ISO 37001: 2016 which, in the future does not rule out the possibility for this system to be integrated to the existing DAHANA system namely SIMADA (Dahana Management System). The purpose of its application is to prevent possible bribery by detecting, reporting and handling bribery in DAHANA environment

“It has the benefit of reducing costs, risks and losses from bribery and increasing the company’s trust and business reputation,” said Asep Maskandar.

He continued that the scope of the SMAP audit itself is all business process activities in PT DAHANA (Persero).

“The method includes the use sampling methods, interviews, review documents and field observations,” concluded Asep. (rmt)
