SUBANG – PT DAHANA held a webinar for socialization of SNI ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) in commemoration of the World Anti-Corruption Day. This activity was done online through the zoom meeting which was attended by all DAHANA employees on Friday morning, December 9, 2022.

In his remarks, DAHANA’s President Director Wildan Widarman conveyed that the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) at PT DAHANA was an actual step of the system implementation with in compliance to relevant regulations and directions from the Ministry of State-owned Enterprises (SOEs).

“ISO 37001: 2016 certification is an early pioneer of the anti-corruption movement which must be materialized out by all DAHANA personnel without exception. By implementing the system, we hope that the system can be carried out in a sustainable manner,” said Mr Widarman.

Meanwhile, DAHANA’s Legal and Corporate Governance Supervisor, Fajar Pratama who acted as the speaker said that December 9 is celebrated as World Anti-Corruption Day. Therefore, DAHANA uses the opportunity as a moment to socialize ISO 37001:2016 regarding the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP).

“SMAP can become a new culture that DAHANA employees continue to implement as it is in line with the values contained in AKHLAK’s core values,” said Mr Pratama.

Mr Pratama added that previously, DAHANA had made massive efforts to prevent corruption in the company, one of which was by forming a Bribery and Gratification Control Unit (UPG) which is under the Anti-Bribery Compliance Function (FKAP). By doing so, it is hoped that the company can carry out Good Corporate Governance which is clean from things such as bribery or other forms of corruption.

All DAHANA’s employees are required to file a report in the event they become aware of any potential alleged gratification in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

He also added that the benefits of reporting gratuities include removing the threat of punishment for the recipient, reflecting the integrity of the recipient, resolving conflicts of interest, and becoming a self-assessment for companies to report such gratuities. Mr Pratama also hoped that all DAHANA employees, from top management to all work units could comply with the SMAP and report receipt of gratuities.

“It is our hope that this socialization can increase the commitment of DAHANA’s personnel in term of gratuities reporting to make sure it becomes a corporate work culture, so that the company’s business can run cleanly, and of course will benefit all DAHANA employees,” concluded Mr Pratama.
