PT DAHANA gave an In-house Training (IHT) session for introducing explosive products to Semen Baturaja employees. The training was held at PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk. South Sumatra on Friday 30 September 2022.
Superintendent Jsp of Semen Baturaja, Akbar Husein Rachmawan explained, that during at this IHT, DAHANA explained various kinds of products manufactured at DAHANA’s Energetic Material Center (EMC) which have been widely applied to various blasting fields. In addition, DAHANA also provides facilities capable of efficiently blasting.
“For complex rock blasting, for example, DAHANA’s Energetic Material Center team has managed to create product innovations such as Dawagel. DAHANA also has other products that we introduce at IHT this time. Hopefully this IHT event may increase the knowledge of our colleagues at Semen Baturaja on DAHANA’s explosives products,” said Mr Rachmawan.
In addition, Mr Rachmawan also explained that the training participants consisting of employees of Semen Baturaja and DAHANA Semen Baturaja’s site showed enthusiastic participation during the training. Interesting questions and discussions were raised during In-house Training process. Mr Rachmawan also hoped that IHT activities can be regularly carried out at the Semen Baturaja site.
This was welcomed by IHT participants, Rahma, for example who said that the subject presented by DAHANA was very good and interesting. In fact, she wished that the In-house Training time would be longer considering that DAHANA’s offers numerous and complex blasting products and services.
“The training material is good and interesting, and is delivered in a systematic and easy-to-understand way. The time allocation of the training should be longer for the convenient delivery of the overall materials,” said Rahma.
Until now, DAHANA is listed as an explosives company that is equipped with the most complete facilities in the Southeast Asia region, and therefore is also referred to as the Qibla of Indonesian Explosives. Since March 2022, DAHANA has been a member of the Indonesian Defense Industry SOEs holding (DEFEND ID).
