To help ease the burden on the community in getting affordable basic necessities, DAHANA together with other SOEs held a People’s Market and SOEs MSME Bazaar on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Pandapa Paramarta, Kuningan Regency.

The Kuningan Regent, Acep Purnama said in his remarks that the People’s Market and MSME Bazaar activities are an effort to resume the national economy after the Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the world and Indonesia for two years. The event was is also considered as a form of support for MSME products.

“It is hoped that by the involvement of all actors who assist in this activity, the presence of SOEs leaders will move to work collaboratively to help reach the regions. In Kuningan alone, there are around 60,000 MSMEs that need assistance. Today, let’s welcome the recovery of the national economy,” said Mr Purnama.

Meanwhile, the Special Staff for the Minister of SOEs for Communications, Arya Sinulingga, said that after two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, as a State-Owned Enterprise,  we wish to help ease the economic condition of the people who had slumped in recent times. This is also a message from the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir.

“I hope this activity can ease the burden of the Kuningan community’s for the basic needs. As Minister  Erick Thohir said in his message ‘if you can’t give in full, you should at least help lessen the suffering’,” said Mr Sinulingga.

PT DAHANA’s Head of Social and Environmental Responsibility, Eman Suherman was present at the event. He said that in the activities of the People’s Market and the SOEs’ MSME Bazaar, 4,000 food packages were also distributed. This is a form of SOE’s support for the national economic recovery, and also helps MSMEs in Indonesia, especially in Kuningan Regency.

“DAHANA is here as a donor SOE along with nine other SOEs. The  company is committed to helping people affected by COVID-19, as well as trying to revive the national economy through MSMEs,” said Mr Suherman.

Apart from that, this event was also made more lively by the presence of millennials, one of which was millennials from Holding DEFEND ID. Aside from being a gathering place, (the event) with the involvement of millennials is also a momentum for collaboration that has been instilled since the young age in the SOEs environment as the implementation of Moral Core Values.

 

As a state-owned company, DAHANA has always been on the side of the community since the first outbreak of  COVID-19 pandemic, among others by distributing health protocol equipment and supplies, providing basic food assistance, and involving MSMEs fostered partners to help relive the MSMEs after two years of turmoil due to the pandemic.
