PT DAHANA won 2nd place in the Badminton Tournament organized by PT Central Cipta Murdaya (CCM) in commemoration of the 2023 National OHS Month. PT CCM National OHS Month Commemoration activity was attended by CCM employees and all vendors from 20 January – 3 February 2023 at Sebakis , North Kalimantan.
DAHANA’s Supervisor of Jsp CCM, Ilham Ari Julkipli said that Kelvin Parerungan and Irwansyah who represented DAHANA in the men’s doubles match, the two DAHANA personnel managed to pass the competition from the preliminary round and went to the final round against the PT SIL-SIP team.
“As a KPP employee, I hope that Kelvin Parerungan & Irwansyah who represent DAHANA KBL – CCM for the badminton sport will continue to be passionate about creating sportsmanship in sports and productivity. This can be an added value to DAHANA to get better reputation in the explosive, drilling and blasting arena in Indonesia,” said Mr Julkipli.
The CCM Site commemorated the National OHS Month with various events such as Webinars, counselling for on stunting and sports competitions ranging from badminton, table tennis, chess, online game matches, mobile legends, PUBG, PES, Rank 1, to posters and many other interesting events.
Mr Julkipliu added that the commemoration of the National OHS Month is a very important thing for mining people, especially DAHANA which is engaged in the explosives industry with extreme risks. Commemoration of the National OHS Month can serve as a reminder as well as increase of employee awareness in their daily activities.
He also hoped that DAHANA’s personnel, both at the Head-Offices and at the sites, can continue to support and actively participate in OHS Month Activities and the implementation of OHS in their daily work life by recognizing the hazards in the work area, home, employee housing; carrying out prevention, handling, and undertaking hazard controls, as well as innovating by replacing harmful materials with harmless levels but with the same function.
Since December 2021 DAHANA has provided drilling and blasting services to PT CCM. To achieve zero accidents in every business, DAHANA provides employees with 5 Minute Meetings (P5M) every day before blasting with an evaluation of OHS issues and planning, as well as reporting through the HSE application.
In addition to the CCM site activities, DAHANA independently held the 2023 National OHS Month Commemoration with various activities such as OHS Month Opening Ceremony, Healthy Worker Gymnastics, Accident Investigation Contest, Rescue & Fire Fighting Contest, OHS Run, OHS Quiz Competition, 3 on 3 Basketball, OHS poster competition, OHS photography competition, talk show, Best Safety Performance Award, Selection of the best site, Compliance with the use of PPE, Launching of RFID Access, and Exhibition.
