Resources of  Bolaang Mongondow, Monday, June 6, 2022, at the JRBM Bakan Bolaang Mongondow, North Sulawesi.

DAHANA’s Director of Operations, Bambang Agung positively welcomed the award. According to him, this award is a form of appreciation for DAHANA who has got the highest score and actively participated in the Mining Safety Environment audited by J-Safe (JrBM Safety Management System).

“Following the admission of the  contract on October 1, 2018 for the supply of explosives and blasting services, DAHANA is committed to providing the best service including the implementation of LKP, and this award proves that DAHANA is very serious in the field of Mining Safety Environment,” said Mr Agung.

Meanwhile, DAHANA JRBM’s caretaker Site Lalu Tiramjati said that implementation of a good LKP is a mandate from DAHANA’s Director of Operations, Bambang Agung at the June Mining Safety Management System (SMKP) meeting which discussed the company’s reputation. DAHANA’s Director of DAHANA also mandated that DAHANA’s Health, Occupational, and Environment Safety (K3LH) Team could give appreciation to the jobsite or work unit with the best LKP performance.

According to Mr Tiramjati, in early 2022, DAHANA also issued an HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) application to reduce reporting inconsistencies, increase reporting participation, and mobilize collective action in the field of K3L (Health, Occupational Safety, and Environment-HSE). By digitizing HSE reporting, the company hopes that DAHANA can improve services in view of LKP and LTI fields.

Based on DAHANA’s safety performance data expressed in the TRCFR (Total Recordable Cause Frequency Rate), the TRCFR target is 2.89 with the TRCFR result in 2021 being 0.00 and the number of working hours amounting to 1,963,840 hours. This HSE application is expected to improve consistency in reporting in order to minimize work accidents.

“It is my hope that for DAHANA’s JRBM  Site, this achievement will not only remain a charter, but it can be implemented consistently  all employees of DAHANA’ JRBM Bakan site, and I also hope that this award can inspire other sites to compete with each other to improve service and the performance of LKP at their respective sites,” concluded Mr Tiramjati.
