PT DAHANA (Persero) got the trust for drilling and blasting work at IUP OP PT Maslapita located in the village of Mawani, district of Patangkep Tutui, regency of Barito Timur, province of Central Kalimantan. Mining activity started with an initial blasting on May 15, 2018.
Maslapita Site is one General Mining Division 2 new projects. DAHANA was granted a two-year contract for drilling and blasting starting May 1, 2018 to April 30 April 2020, with the target for blasting 500,000 – 700,000 BCM overburden.
DAHANA is challenged to complete initial blasting in a short time.
“What makes the site different is the fact that we are given limited time by PT Maslapita; only one month before the initial blasting,” explained Ryan Noverie Pasoreh, DTU 2 Customer Relations Manager.
However, after the successful initial blasting, DAHANA managed to get to thumbs up from the Mining Technical Chief of PT Maslapita, Desta Susila.
“In my experience with mining and blasting, I must say that this is an excellent blasting work. Vibration is low while fly rock projection is also within the safe distance. Congratulations, DAHANA. Well done,’ exclaimed Desta Susila.
