Six State-Owned Enterprises under the National Defence and High-technology Industry (NDHI) cluster executed another strategic collaboration.

The cluster, consisting of PT Pindad (Persero), PT Dirgantara Indonesia/DI (Persero), PT DAHANA (Persero), PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia/INTI (Persero), PT Len Industri (Persero), dan PT Industri Nuklir Indonesia/Inuki (Persero) signed a Memorandum of understanding/MOU with the  Pusat Peragaan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (PP-IPTEK)—Centre for Display of Science and Technology. Both parties agreed to be engaged in the scheme of Synergy of Development and Empowerment of Indonesia’s Technology Achievement in the Indonesian Innovation Center, Friday (20/4).

“The six State-owned Enterprises have their respective technology excellence. This collaboration is a form of our support to Indonesian technology: the State-owned Enterprises for the country,” said Corporate Secretary of   PT Len Industri Syaifuddin, the NDHI Coordinator, during the collborative exhibition for Indonesia Science Day (ISD), at the Pusat Peragaan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (PP-IPTEK) Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Jakarta.

The moment, apart from being the exhibition for Indonesia Science Day, was also for the anniversary of  Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, official opening of new innovation ride at the PP-IPTEK area, and for other science and technology activities.

The MOU was severally signed by the  Director of Center for Display of Science and Technology, Ministry of Research, Technologu and Higher Education, Muhammad Syachrial Annas, with six president directors of NDHI cluster State-owned Enterprises, namely President Director of PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) Elfien Goentoro, President Director of PT Pindad (Persero) Abraham Mose, President Director of PT DAHANA (Persero) Budi Antono, President Director of PT INTI (Persero) Darman Mappangara, President Director of PT Len Industri (Persero) Zakky Gamal Yasin, and President Director of Inuki (Persero) Bambang Herutomo.

The MOU serves as an initial step for improvement of synergy for both parties by supplies of displays, mock-up, and real size products at the Wahana Inovasi Indonesia.

“NDHI is expected to support  PP-IPTEK’s role as  ‘Communication Hub’ for promotion and introduction of  science and technology to the community,” said  Syaifuddin.

Meanwhile, President Director of PT DAHANA (Persero) Budi Antono welcomes the event. He said it is a good idea to have NDHI’s innovative products at the displays of di PP-IPTEK.

“Dahana has some display materials, one of them is Mobile Manufacturing Truck (MMT), or familiarly called the ‘moving explosive manufacturer’. This way, the public are aware of their country’s technology capability,” said Budi Antono.

The MMT trucks is display in the the form of dummy at the ISD 2018  to 22 April 2018 with other innovative products from the NDHI Cluster.
