DAHANA’s Public Relations Manager, Juli Jajuli, was awarded the Silver Winner of INSAN PR INDONESIA 2020 for sub-category of Public Relations Manager at the 6th PR Indonesia Jamboree (JAMPIRO). This activity was held online through a live broadcast on the PR Indonesia Youtube Channel on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.

According to the CEO of PR Indonesia Asmono Wikan, the INSAN PR INDONESIA competition serves as a form of appreciation for competence and performance efforts of excellent public relations (PR) practitioners from corporations/organizations throughout Indonesia. As single most comprehensive PR practitioner competition event in Indonesia, INSAN PR INDONESIA is a barometer of competency and performance of public relations practitioners which is participated by all corporate/institutional PR practitioners.

During the last two months, the competition was held in several stages starting from entry of documents from candidates and judgment by a Jury consisting of Elizabeth Goenawan Ananto (Senior PR Practitioner/PR INDONESIA Gurus), Suharjo Nugroho (Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Public Relations Companies), and Asmono Wikan (Founder & CEO of PR INDONESIA). The judging process was also carried out online in which the participants sent entry documents and presentations via video.

Recent time DAHANA’s Public Relations has creatively invented various kinds of communication programs for the public by utilizing digital media and communication spaces for fellow employees of the explosives company, such as the Arts and Sports (SENIOR DAHANA) and the Joy to Write (Gumelis) program through which DAHANA’s employees convey their ideas on writing, and build good communication among employees.

“This, of course, is the result of team work. And fortunately, I have also enjoyed a support of millennials that allow me to be creative and productive in my work, “said Juli Jajuli.

Apart from the 2020 Indonesian PR People category, there are four other categories, namely The Most Popular Leader in Social Media, Fellowship Program, Icon PR Indonesia, and Rookie Star. Each award category is attended by hundreds of participants ranging from beginners in the field of PR to senior practitioners who have served in the field of public relations for many years.
