PT DAHANA (Persero) participated in the Expo of Defense Research and Development 2018 hosted by the Board for Research and Development of Defense Ministry. The expo exhibited defense products manufactured but research and development institutions, universities and defense industries from 28 to 29 August 2018 din Pondok Labu, South Jakarta.
DAHANA and other participants arrived at the exhibition venue around 07.00 – 09.00 in the morning for registration and necessary display preparation. The exhibition was officially opened by Dr. Anne Kusmiyati, Head of the Board for Research and Development, Ministry of Defense at 09.00 with a gong strike.
40 institutions, consisting of four ministries/institutions, five military institutions, six universities and 25 defense industries participated in the expo. DAHANA had booth number 10, between PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) and PT LEN (Persero). As a state-owned company operating in explosive industry, DAHANA displayed military products such as RHan 122, Bomb P 100 L, and commercial explosives.
The Defense Research and Development Expo 2018 raised the theme of “Innovation towards Defense Independence as a Form of State Defense” which represented the defense Research and Development Institution’s involvement in delivery of products defense product to preserve Republic of Indonesia sovereignty.
The Head of Board for Defense Research and Development, on behalf of Minister of Defense, explained that the exhibition was intended to boost up the collaboration among the three pillars of defense industry independence. The three pillars are : defense industry, research and development institutions and universities. The three pillars are expected to develop inter-connectivity for better delivery of innovative defense products.
PT DAHANA (Persero)’s President Director Budi Antono was also present at the expo.
